PLAY SCHOOL
Play is an important element in the learning process. Our playschool is a Montessori inspired programme that facilitates learning through play with interactive activities that stimulates fine and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem solving and critical thinking ability. Our playschool is divided into 2 categories – Infant Care and Day Care/Play Group.
INFANT CARE
(2 – 12 MONTHS)
A baby has an unconscious absorbent mind and a baby’s brain and body develops at an amazing rate in the first year. We use the Montessori approach in our infant care which focuses on human interaction and discovery to stimulate the mind and senses that supportsa baby’s growth.
Our infant care facility is modern, purpose built and equipped to offer a safe, secure and homely environment for play, socializing and rest.
DAYCARE/PLAYGROUP
(1 - 4 years)
This programme is designed to help children adapt to structured learning and a school environment in preparation for Pre-School.
Our teachers help children develop their natural exploration instinct, and stimulate imagination and creativity. Teachers also encourage children to help themselves by teaching them simple daily skills like serving their own meals, putting on and removing clothes, making choices and managing their emotions.

Physical growth and development of body, senses and skills for example crawling, walking and writing through movement and activity.
Essential language and literacy for communication and self-expression. Learning to understand and use language to express
ideas and develop literacy in reading & writing.
Learning math concepts and logical thinking for problem-solving. A key feature for developing problem solving capabilities and thinking “out of the box”.
Developing awareness of one’s own needs and feelings in a nurturing and supported environment. Children learn to understand who they are, what they are feeling and what to expect when interacting with
others. Development to experience, explore & engage within their environment.
Appreciating nature, the environment and understanding the world around them. This helps develop appropriate interpersonal skills.
At early childhood, children use their senses to explore and try to make sense of the world around them. Sensory exploration using touch, taste, smell & listening and “sensory play” for brain development. Optimal sensory development help build nerve connections in the brain.
